Nederlandse vertaling van John Wesleys De katholieke gezindheid (Preek 39), met een voorwoord van de Publikatieraad en een inleiding van Antonie Holleman. De originele, Engelse preek kan hier worden geraadpleegd. "Nadat hij vandaar verder gegaan was, trof hij Jonadab, de zoon van Rekab aan, die hem tegemoet kwam; hij groette hem en vroeg hem: Is uw hart mij even oprecht toegedaan als mijn hart u? Jonadab antwoordde: Ja, gewis. (Toen zeide hij:) Indien het zo is, geef mij dan uw hand" (2 Koningen 10:15).

(Dutch translation of John Wesley's Catholic Spirit (Sermon 39) by Hans Deventer, with a preface by the Publication Board and an introduction by Antonie Holleman. The original sermon may be accessed here. "And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him, and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart And Jehonadab answered: It is. If it be, give me thine hand." 2 Kings 10:15.)
