This study compares the effects of high intensity interval training (HIIT) and moderate intensity continuous training (MICT) on blood glucose levels in individuals at high risk for type 2 diabetes. Blood glucose levels were compared between HIIT and MICT groups as well as pre-training and post-training. The results show a potentially more powerful effect of HIIT in individuals whose starting blood glucose levels were above 100 mg/dL.
