Dr. Melanie Gall

Melanie Gall, DNP, RN, CCRN

Dr. Gall is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the School of Nursing at Indiana University Fort Wayne. Dr. Gall continues to practice as an RN and an Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) specialist in Cardiovascular Intensive Care at Lutheran Hospital. She can bring real-time, evidence-based practice directly from the bedside to the classroom by staying in a clinical role. Her clinical background of nearly 20 years includes cardiac telemetry, intensive care, nurse leadership, and nurse education. Dr. Gall continues to advance her DNP project work by exploring publications and presenting her project topic of implementing and evaluating a protocol for the care of ECMO patients.
